Sticks’n’sushi restaurant

Hello readers, hope you’re weeks going great. The weekends here, so thought I do a quick post about a very good restaurant in Canary wharf called sticks’n’sushi. The first I knew about the place was via a London restaurant festival deal I saw on the net. It’s located right next to the new cross rail, so it’s quite easy to get to.

I got to the restaurant an hour late , but wasn’t treated badly. The staff were very understanding , friendly and attentive. One of the best customer service have experienced in London I reckon. A massive thanks to Rade (one of the staff).

The food was also impressive. It’s a lot more than just Sushi. The Chicken, salmon and asparagus on sticks ( Yakitoris) that I had as part of £23 food festival set menu was ridiculously tasty. The same goes for the maki rolls. Did I mention that you get a free glass of wine or beer with that deal as well.

Other dishes I tried on my two visits were some lovely scallops and aioli like sauce on a stick. This comes really highly recommended.

Some tasty ribs

And this lovely beef. Ever soo juicy and tender.

The desserts ordered were also of a very high quality. The sweet darks collection had a bergamot orange Creme brûlée , dark fondant with chocolate caramel and peppermint heart topped with hazelnut brittle, marcel chocolate cake and a coconut cream substitute because they were out of the black sesame ice cream. I really can’t wait to order this again.

Finally, make sure you try out the cucumber cocktail when you visit and let me know what you think.cool and refreshing comes to mind.

There goes my time in Sticks and sushi. I really have to stop writing now because I’m running late for work. Yep it’s 8am and I don’t really know what people might say if I blamed the lateness on amazing maki rolls. Kind of doesn’t work does it. The sushi was just sooo good. 🙂
