Jose pizarro

Hi all, hope your weekends going well. My Saturday evening was spent visiting a Bermondsey based Spanish restaurant I reviewed on my food blog a few months ago (Jose Pizarro). The original plan was to check out their new site at  but we decided to return to the Broadgate site because we enjoyed our last outing.

On this occasion I only tried 3 dishes:

A rich and delicious potato and cuttlefish stew with very intense flavours. I would definitely order this again

A melt in your mouth roasted Segovian suckling pig with cranberry sauce that was very tender and tasty. The outer brown crust was ever so crispy. You could sit down there for hours just eating away with a smile on your face. It reminded me of my time at a restaurant in Marbella.

Suckling Pig

The final dish I had was a croquette filled with pork, covered in aioli and tomato sauce. A tasty dish indeed.

There goes my time at Jose Pizarro. I enjoyed it as usual and I can’t wait to check out some of their dishes on my next visit.

Have a brilliant week and see you soon.
